Derby Gilbert & Sullivan Company is in its 50th anniversary season continue to go from strength to strength, with a fantastic line up of shows, commencing at Buxton Opera House in March.

Joining in the celebrations during the week at Buxton are friends of DGSC; Heritage Opera and Donald Maxwell.

From humble beginnings, DGSC has grown to become one of the leading non-professional G&S companies in the country, headed up by Andrew Nicklin, co-founder.

We have worked and continue to work with many professional names such as Simon Butteriss, Donald Maxwell, Alistair McGowan, Richard Suart, Gari Glaysher, Nicholas Sales, Deborah Norman, Charlie Bapti, Jessica Temple, Dawn Foxall and Bronwen Evans and have a first class chorus, always striving to bring the best productions to audiences in the Midlands.
